Kirk Yeaman, born September 15, 1983 is a rugby league player currently playing for his hometown club Hull FC.

[edit]Career

Kirk is a young player who has come through the ranks at Hull FC. He is a defender and has been likened to Keith SeniorJamie Lyon and Martin Gleeson.[citation needed]Kirk is also a proven try scorer with 17 tries at the end of the 2005 season and an impressive tally in 2006 taking him over the 20 try mark.

Despite some injuries, he was called up to the Tri Nations in Australia, playing in two matches.

Kirk signed a three year contract extension with Hull FC[1], and he will now remain with the club until the end of the 2010 season.

He has been forced to rule himself out contention for the England training squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup through injury.[1]
