Matt Cooper (born 18 April 1979 in Port Kembla, New South Wales) is an Australianprofessional rugby league footballer who plays for the St George Illawarra Dragons in the National Rugby League competition. His position is usually at centre, though he can also play on the wing. Cooper has also appeared for New South Wales Origin and the Australian Kangaroos.
